My car has a clear coat finish. Can I use a cut & polish to enhance the shine?

Do not use a cutting compound of any kind on clear coat finishes, or any paint surface in reasonably good condition. For best results, use KITTEN® Liquid Polishing Wax.

I want to polish my car. Is a liquid polish better than a cream polish?

Both products provide the same protection, but a liquid polish is easier and quicker to apply.

Do I use a polish or a wax?

You can use either, but preferrably use a polish, then a wax after that to protect the shine.

What is Carnauba wax?

Carnauba is the hardest natural wax available, and comes from palm trees in Brazil. It is used to enhance the durability and protection of formulas againts the environment.

Is it alright to use household detergent to use on my car?

In a word, no. Formulated car washes will remove tough dirt and grime, leaving the wax in place. Household detergents are designed to work in hot water and cut through grease. This aggressive action will also strip away the protective wax coating, leaving your paint unprotected.

How do I protect the clear coat finish on my car?

You will need to use a wax on your clear coat finish for added protective shine qualities. Wax 3-4 times a year for maximum protection.

What can I use on fresh paint?

Aftermarket paint jobs continue to cure for two to three months. Do not wax the finish during this time, however you can safely use a liquid polish.
